If you’re using Premium Addons Pro, keeping it up to date ensures you have the latest features and improvements. To update, you need an active license:

• Lifetime subscription users get updates forever.
• Yearly subscription users receive updates until their license expires and will need to renew to access the latest version.

This guide will walk you through how to update Premium Addons Pro manually using the WordPress Dashboard, with an optional FTP method for those who prefer it.

Additionally, Premium Addons Free version is required for the Pro version to work correctly. So, make sure it is installed and activated.

Updating via WordPress Dashboard

Step 1: Download the Latest Version

1. Log in to your Leap13 account here.
2. Enter your username and password, then click Log In.
3. Navigate to the Downloads tab.
4. Click the download icon next to the plugin file and save it to your computer.

Step 2: Remove the Old Version

1. In your WordPress Dashboard, go to Plugins → Installed Plugins.
2. Deactivate Premium Addons Pro. Wait for the page to refresh.
3. Click Delete to remove the plugin completely.

Important: Before deleting, make sure to back up your settings to avoid losing any custom configurations.

Step 3: Install the New Version

1. Click Add New at the top of the Plugins page.
2. Click Upload Plugin, then Choose File and select the Premium Addons Pro ZIP file you downloaded.
3. Click Install Now and wait for the installation to complete.
4. Click Activate Plugin to enable Premium Addons Pro.

Alternative Option: Updating via FTP

If you prefer, you can also update Premium Addons Pro using FTP:

1. Connect to your FTP server using a client like FileZilla, CrossFTP, or Cyberduck.
2. Navigate to your WordPress directory:
   • Open wp-content/plugins/
3. Delete the existing premium-addons-pro folder.
4. Upload the new plugin ZIP file and extract it.
5. Log in to your WordPress Dashboard and activate the plugin.
