September 2026 Updates: Premium Addons in Elementor MCP and Angie, Custom Words for Tags Cloud, and 34 Widget and Dashboard Changes

Elementor has two AI tools of its own, Angie and Elementor MCP, and as of this month both of them can build with Premium Addons. If you already use either one, Premium Addons widgets and templates come through the connection you already have. The same eight releases, 4.11.102 to 4.11.109, and Premium Addons PRO 2.9.65 to 2.9.67 brought plenty of widget work as well, from your own words in Tags Cloud to a text fill that follows the scroll.

New to connecting an AI assistant? The video tutorial shows how to connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to your site through the Premium Addons MCP and have it build Elementor pages.

Elementor MCP can now use Premium Addons widgets

Elementor MCP, part of Elementor 4.3, is a connection that lets an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT build on your site from a chat. On its own it only works with Elementor’s new v4 elements, so it can’t place even a classic Heading widget.

With Premium Addons 4.11.107 or later, the same connection can add classic Elementor widgets, Premium Addons widgets and sections from the Premium Templates library. With Premium Addons PRO it also reaches Elementor Pro widgets and widgets from other plugins you have installed.

There is nothing extra to connect. When you switch Elementor MCP on, Premium Addons switches its AI Abilities on with it. If Elementor MCP was already on before you updated, switch AI Abilities on yourself under Premium Addons → MCP Config & AI Abilities. Switching Elementor MCP off later leaves them alone, because only you turn AI Abilities off. Whatever you keep enabled under Manage AI Abilities is what Elementor MCP gets.

Name Premium Addons in the prompt, or the assistant may reach for Elementor’s new elements instead:

“Build a homepage hero slider with three slides using the Premium Addons Carousel widget. Each slide needs a headline, a button and a background image.”

Turning on Elementor MCP here also switches on Premium Addons AI Abilities.

You need Elementor 4.3.0 and WordPress 7.0 or later. Elementor Pro is not required. If you already connect through the Premium Addons MCP, keep it; both routes run the same abilities.

Angie builds with Premium Addons

Angie is Elementor’s AI assistant, and it works inside the editor while you watch. Since 4.11.102 it can use Premium Addons: it builds sections from Premium Addons widgets, restyles the ones already on your page, and browses the Premium Templates library. Before it adds a template it lists the matching designs with preview links and waits for your yes.

Angie works with widgets. It can’t set up addons such as Display Conditions or Parallax. PRO templates need a Premium Addons PRO licence. You need Angie 1.1.16 and WordPress 7.0 or later.

Tags Cloud takes your own words

Tags Cloud used to build its cloud from your categories or tags. The Source option now has a second choice, Custom Words. You type each word, give it a link and a weight from 1 to 10. With Font Size Scale set, heavier words show larger. So the cloud can hold things that were never tags, like the skills on a portfolio or the services a business offers.

Premium Addons PRO adds a Throwable Effect when Words Order is set to Default. The words drop into a box, and visitors can grab them and throw them around. Scene Height, Gravity and Bounciness set how it behaves.

Widget improvements

Heading, Dual Heading and Textual Showcase can fill their text word by word as the visitor scrolls, with Fill on Scroll from Premium Addons PRO. After Fill Color sets the color the words fill to, and Lock Scroll Until Fill Ends holds the section in place until the last word fills.

Display Conditions has a Compare option on the Date condition. Besides matching one day, it can now show or hide an element before or after a date, so a sale banner can come down on its own when the sale ends.

In PRO, Instagram Feed has a Media Type option to show images, videos or both. Image Hotspots has an Image Size option, so the main image doesn’t have to load at full resolution. Icon Box hover transitions are faster.

Google Maps now explains, right in the panel, that a map with a Map ID is styled in your Google Cloud Console. It also stops sending the JSON styles Google ignores on those maps, which cleans up the console warnings.

If you translate pages with WPML or Polylang and Dynamic Assets is on, a translated page now loads the styles for the widgets it actually holds. You no longer have to re-save it in Elementor for them to show up.

AI agents now ask before they insert a Premium Addons template, and the Premium Templates library has a Refresh option for when templates are out of date or fail to load.

The MCP Config & AI Abilities tab was rebuilt. Run connection check tells you what is stopping an AI client from connecting. Generate password creates the application password a client needs in one click. Manage Connections lists the application passwords and OAuth connections your AI clients use to reach the Premium Addons MCP with your account, so you can revoke any of them. The claude.ai steps also follow its new Customize > Connectors location. The License tab was redesigned, and in PRO it shows your plan details and activation errors in place.

Updating

Update from Plugins in your dashboard as usual; PRO updates from the same screen while your licence is active. If anything looks wrong afterwards, Premium Addons → Version Control will put the previous version back.

September also carried security hardening in several widgets and the templates library, which never shows up as an option.

Conclusion

If you build with Elementor’s own AI, Premium Addons now comes along with it, whether you use Elementor MCP or Angie. On the widget side, the Date condition is the quiet one worth a look: a promotion can now switch itself off on the day it ends.

Open Elementor → Elementor MCP, enable MCP access, connect your assistant, and ask it for one section “using Premium Addons widgets” on a draft page.
