August 2026 Updates: Ready-Made Templates for AI, ChatGPT Support, and 32 Widget and Dashboard Changes

In July your AI assistant learned to build Premium Addons layouts. In August it stopped starting from a blank container, because it can now browse the Premium Templates catalog and drop a finished section straight into a page. Eight releases, 4.11.94 to 4.11.101, carried that alongside ChatGPT support and a solid run of widget work.

Your AI can start from a ready-made section

A connected AI client could already build with Premium Addons widgets. What it could not do was reach the Premium Elementor templates library, so everything it made started from an empty container and a description.

Two new abilities close that gap. One browses the catalog, filtered by what the section is for or by the widget it is built on. The other pulls a section down and writes it into an Elementor page. So you can ask for this:

“Show me testimonial sections built with Premium Addons, then add the second one to my About page.”

The Manage AI Abilities panel with seven ability groups, Premium Templates expanded to show List Premium Templates and Insert Premium Template
Premium Templates is the seventh group. Like every other group, you can switch it off.

While it builds, the AI now also suggests templates that match what you asked for, so a page it assembles leans on designs someone drew rather than on what it can invent from a sentence.

Two caveats. The catalog carries free and Pro sections, and a Pro section will not insert on a site without a Premium Addons Pro licence. And the insert reads what the browse call cached, so an agent that has not looked at the catalog in a day browses again before it can add anything.

ChatGPT connects in your browser

ChatGPT is now one of the clients you can connect with OAuth. You pick it in Premium Addons → MCP Config & AI Abilities, copy two values, and approve the connection in your browser. There is no password to generate and nothing to keep afterwards, because the client registers itself and gets its own access token when you approve it.

The panel walks through each client separately, ChatGPT included.

Widget improvements

Team Members had the busiest month: a TikTok icon in the social list, the Twitter icon updated to X, and a responsive Margin option on the description so the spacing under a name can differ on phones.

A Tilt Effect option arrived in Image Gallery, Pinterest Feed, Team Members and Testimonials, so cards lean toward the cursor as it passes over them.

Image Scroll can now carry a text label above, below or over the image, which saves stacking a separate heading on top of it. Button and Image Button gained an Above option for icon position, for the stacked icon-over-text look. Modal Box has a Disable Page Scroll option, so the page behind a modal stays put while it is open. Dual Heading takes X and Y Anchor Point controls that set the point a rotated heading turns around.

On the AI side, the abilities are no longer tied to the Premium Addons MCP server. WordPress keeps one registry of every ability a site has, and Premium Addons abilities are now marked so that any MCP plugin reading that registry can list and run them. The design guidelines the AI follows were improved too, which shows up as pages that look more like the rest of your site. The dashboard now carries step by step instructions for every client it supports, and it tells you when a REST API authentication restriction is what blocked an OAuth connection.

Pages with no Premium Addons widgets on them no longer load the Premium Addons stylesheet.

Updating

Update from Plugins in your dashboard as usual. If anything looks wrong afterwards, Premium Addons → Version Control will put the previous version back.

August also carried code refactoring for performance and loading speed that never appears as an option.

Conclusion

What changed in August is the quality of what an AI client hands back, since a section someone designed beats a section described to it. ChatGPT reaching the same connection flow widens who can try that. Team Members, Image Scroll, Modal Box and the four widgets that picked up Tilt Effect were a full month of work on their own.

Switch on the Premium Templates group under Premium Addons → MCP Config & AI Abilities, connect a client, and ask it for a section by name. You will know inside a minute whether the result looks like your site.
