Introducing: AI Agent Skill. If you have connected an AI client to your WordPress site through Premium Addons MCP or any other MCP like Novamira or Royal MCP, you already know the feeling. You ask for a pricing section. You get a pricing section. It works, it renders, nothing is broken. It also looks like it was lifted from a different website: brand colors that appear nowhere else on your site, a heading size off your type scale, spacing borrowed from someone else’s design system.
Nothing failed. The assistant did what you asked. It just did it without knowing anything about your site.
That gap is what the Premium Addons Agent Skill closes. It is free, open-source under the MIT license on GitHub, and it installs into your AI client rather than into WordPress.
AI Client Doesn’t Know Your Site. AI Agent Skill Understands It!
AI Abilities gives your assistant a list of things it can do on your site: read a page structure, insert a widget, duplicate a post, update an element, upload media. That list is its capability, and there is plenty on it.
What a list of actions cannot tell an assistant is when and whether to do them. It says nothing about which widget suits a testimonial block, nothing about reading your global colors before choosing a shade, and nothing about stopping to ask before deleting a section on a client’s live site.
The Agent Skill is that missing half, a written instruction set your client loads alongside the abilities, covering which ability to call, in what order, with what design judgment, and where to stop and ask you first.
You do not need it to use AI Abilities. The MCP server works fine on its own, and every ability behaves identically with or without the skill. What changes is the quality and predictability of the output, and how much of your attention supervising it costs.
What Happens When You Ask for Something
Every build or restyle runs through the same five phases.
→ It Reads Before It Writes.
Your design guide, Elementor global settings, theme styles, and the list of widgets this specific site can actually build with. On an existing page, the current element tree, too. Nothing is generated until that is done.
→ It Commits to a Plan and Shows It to You.
A short paragraph: layout direction, spacing rhythm, where the emphasis goes, mapped to specific widgets. Reject it before anything touches your site.
→ It Stops at Anything Consequential.
Publishing, changing post status, deleting an element, enabling a widget you switched off, changing a plugin setting, touching a page you did not put in scope. For edits to an existing page, it offers to duplicate first and work on the copy.
→ It Builds with Containers and Real Schemas.
Before writing any widget’s settings, it reads that widget’s live schema, so it uses actual control names instead of plausible-looking guesses. Multi-column layouts get explicit mobile behavior.
→ It Verifies Instead of Assuming.
After each call, it re-reads the page to confirm the element landed where it should, rather than stacking the next change on a failure. At the end, it runs a design pass: heading order, spacing consistency, contrast, alt text, responsive behavior, and whether the values used match your kit.
Underneath all five sits a widget-selection map from plain-language intent to the right Premium Addons element. “Make the whole card clickable” resolves to Wrapper Link. “That frosted glass look” resolves to Liquid Glass, rather than an approximation assembled out of the wrong parts.
And the design rules themselves are not baked into the skill. Your site serves them through the plugin, matched to your installed version, so the guidance updates when the plugin does, instead of quietly going stale in a file you installed months ago.
It Won’t Change Anything Important Without Asking You
If you build for clients, this is the section that decides whether you use any of this at all. The skill will not:
✓ Publish or change post status without your explicit approval.
✓ Delete an element or page without your explicit approval.
✓ Enable an ability or widget you switched off, or route around one that is off.
✓ Write to your global settings, global classes, or theme styles unless you asked for exactly that.
✓ Edit a page you did not put in scope.
✓ Make any network request of its own; every site operation goes through the MCP connection you configured.
✓ Store anything about your site; it reads everything fresh through your authorized connection.
New work lands as a draft. Nothing reaches visitors until you say so.
Three Things It Is Actually Good At
Building a section that belongs. Ask for a pricing table, and the assistant reads your kit first, builds from the values already in it, and then tells you which values are worth registering in Site Settings so the section stays easy to edit by hand later.
Small fixes that stay small. “The hero is cramped on mobile” is the kind of request AI assistants routinely inflate into a full rebuild, handing back a page that differs in ten ways you never asked about. The skill treats it as surgery: locate, read current settings, change the minimum, confirm the rest is untouched.
Moving a section between sites. Copying a testimonials block from an old build to a new one usually means export, import, and a broken result if the target lacks a widget the source used. Here, the assistant runs a compatibility check and reports any missing items before anything moves. The import arrives as a draft, images are recreated in the target site’s own media library, and existing content is never removed.
When Something Breaks
The skill includes a troubleshooting reference, so your assistant can diagnose a dead connection within the conversation instead of pointing you to documentation. It works through causes in order: endpoint reachable, then authentication, then whether the connected WordPress user has permission, then whether the ability is switched on, then the content itself. It also recognizes the plugin’s specific error codes. A widget that will not insert gets identified as disabled, PRO-locked, or an Elementor v4 atomic widget, not reported as a generic failure.
What it deliberately will not do is route around the problem. If an ability is off, it names it and tells you where to turn it on.
Conclusion
You type the same prompt you would have typed anyway. What changes is what your AI knows when it reads it: which Premium Addons widget fits the job, which global addon does the effect you described, what your license covers, what your Elementor kit already contains, and what the error means when something does not connect.
The result comes back closer to what you asked for, so you spend less time in the editor fixing it.

Just installed the MCP and this skill to test it out. I threw way too much at it out the gate, but it still did a good job. Overall, this is a game changer. Way to beat Elementor to the punch.
