How to Create a Single Post Template in Elementor

Creating Single Post template in Elementor helps you to give all of your blog posts the same layout without having to style each one individually. So, you can save time and make sure your idea looks the same.

With Elementor Theme Builder feature, you can create templates for headers, footers, and archive pages, among other things. You could use one style for news stories, another for sales pages, and a third for case studies, among other things. This helps show each type of information in the best way possible while keeping the overall look of your site consistent.

Please keep in mind that you need Elementor Pro to use the Theme Builder function.


1. Start up the Elementor Theme Builder

  1. To get to Elementor Pro Theme Builder in your WordPress Dashboard, go to Templates.
  2. Select the “Single Post” tab.
  3. Please click on “Add New Single Post Template.”
  4. You can add a ready-made design from Elementor’s templates or one that you have saved.

2. Set the Display Conditions

After making changes to the Single Post Template, you need to tell your site where it should be used:

  • First click “Publish,” and then click “Add Condition.”
  • Posts should be the condition type you choose.
  • Choose “All Posts” to make the change to all of your posts.
  • Press “Save and Close.”

Example:

If you want this template to apply to a specific blog post titled “How WordPress Can Transform Your Site”, select that post in the Value field.

3. Look Over the Changes

See how the style looks on the chosen blog post before you make your decision.

  1. Press “Posts” and then “All Posts” in the WordPress dashboard.
  2. Click View on the post where you used the template.
  3. Please make sure that the post pulls information from the server dynamically and follows the template’s structure.
  4. If you need to, go back to Elementor and change any design features so they fit your post content better.
